His services include assisting clients draft insurance policy and
endorsement language, and drafting and negotiating contracts with
risks allocated between parties so as to achieve greater
insurability. He teaches
risk management and loss prevention workshops and seminars for
environmental consultants, design professionals, design-builders,
and project owners. He
has provided insurance-risk management services on a
project-specific basis on numerous large projects.
He is also a
construction lawyer with a national practice emphasizing
construction and environmental law—representing project owners,
design professionals, and construction contractors in contract
negotiations, claim resolution, disputes and litigation. |

1982 through 1986, he was an attorney in the Office of General
Counsel of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, with
responsibility for assisting the Agency in deciding wastewater
treatment construction grants disputes, contractor claims, bid
protests, suspension and debarment matters and minority business

is married and is the proud father of two college-age
children. Joel
has been creating web-based
businesses since he was 13 and hosts his own show, StreamingFutures.com,
a free, web-based career program dedicated to helping teens choose
the right career path by allowing them to watch internet-based video
interviews with career professionals from all different sectors. Julie,
19, loves snowboarding, tennis and soccer, and she has a passion for
fashion design which she is pursuing in college. |
